The Nile Language School is an English language school providing English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction in New Jersey, USA. Our mission is to prepare students for the future by teaching them the skills needed to live and work in English-speaking countries. We offer the skills and knowledge to take the TOEFL iBT test. NLS is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students.

NLS regional marketing manager

Job Description

As International educators, we are seeking experienced Regional Marketing Managers to bring fresh, new perspectives and creative ideas to help NLS stay on top as an industry leader. Interested candidates must have multi-cultural experience with students of all age groups and be ready to accept the responsibility of creating marketing strategies to help the school grow and succeed.

The responsibilities of a regional marketing manager include defining the purpose of the marketing campaign, implementing the method, and monitoring its progress to see how well it performs.  Marketing managers seek to increase brand awareness as well as encouraging more students to enroll. They organize and adapt the data to analyze target markets and create content for lead generation. They also aim to increase website traffic from the regions they are in charge of.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define and optimize NLS’ marketing strategies for regional markets
  • Develop regional plans and activity calendars
  • Translate NLS’ content to local languages and develop local content where needed
  • Develop good understanding of regional and local market, prospective students and competition
  • Coordinate all local adaptation needs with the NLS administration
  • Develop customer surveys
  • Attend conferences and similar events where NLS may be advertised (must be confirmed by the school administration)
  • Support creation of promotional materials, printing and distribution


Education and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience of an International company or language school
  • A Master’s Degree in Marketing and/or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Experience in branding, and conventional and digital marketing

Language skills

  • Native or near-native fluency in English, especially in speaking and writing
  • Native or near-native fluency in a second language (Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese and Arabic are a priority)

Required Technical skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics and YouTube Ads knowledge preferred
  • SEO knowledge strongly preferred
  • Experience using a CRM and CMS preferred

Interpersonal Skills

  • Ability to work within a team and with other NLS teams
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organized and results-driven mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Networking skills
